Summer Kick-off Block Party

Grab your lawn chair and groove to reggae beats, catch captivating short films, and score giveaways! Let’s celebrate community, adventure, and the great outdoors during the Summer Kick-Off Block Party in support of Medicine Wheel Trail Advocates and UpaDowna. We’re taking over the block at Med Wheel’s office on the hill so grab your friends and welcome Summer under the stars!
Beer and food available by Manitou Brewing Company and Ciao Down food truck!
Open to all ages. 21+ to drink.
Schedule:
7:30pm- Doors open; Reggae music by DJ Chazie 1 Love
8:30-9:30pm – Short films under the stars
9:30-11pm – Get groovy! More music by DJ Chazie 1 Love!
Location: 720 W Monument St. Colorado Springs, CO 80904. Parking available in front of the building and along the street. Please be respectful of the neighbors.
Cost: $20 per person includes entry to Block Party and raffle ticket to giveaways.

Medicine Wheel Trail Advocates is a 501(c)3 nonprofit of mountain bikers who build, share and protect inspiring trail experiences. We provide trail design, construction and maintenance support, and respond to inquiries from these agencies about mountain biking and trail use. We are mountain bikers at heart, but also advocate for other trail uses, educate users about trail sharing etiquette, and share opportunities for our community to have input on public land use issues. UpaDowna is a 501(c)3 nonprofit providing free and donation-based outdoor adventures to El Paso County since 2013. UpaDowna breaksdown common barriers to accessing the outdoors through their climbing, biking, hiking, paddelboarding, and outdoor wellness programs. Our mission is to provide access to outdoor adventures for all through events and programs that empower individuals, create healthier communities, and foster a respect for the environment.
